Dear OBE families,
This Thursday we have our Back to School Night. Classrooms will be
open for visits so that you can learn more about your child’s classroom.
Teachers will have two presentations, one at 5:30pm and another at
6:05pm. This event is for adults, there is no child care. At 5:00pm I
will have a short presentation in the auditorium regarding Title 1
funding. We look forward to seeing you on there on Thursday!

Hello! Please join us for the first PTA meeting of the school
year. This is a great opportunity to stay connected and learn about what
is happening at OBE. All are welcome to attend this event, PTA
membership is strongly encouraged but not required.

Also, please remember we will be locking the gates shortly after
dismissal starting Monday. We are doing this for a number of reasons,
safety being the priority. Also, if you exit and another person is
waiting to get in, please do not keep the gate open for them. All
visitors must be buzzed in by the office staff. Finally, if your student
arrives after 7:50am, please have them go to the office for a tardy
slip. Otherwise, they may be marked absent by the teacher.
